Vegetable Dip

If you need to throw together a quick appetizer using ingredients you already have on hand, our Vegetable Dip is the perfect choice. The ease of making it is deceiving when you taste the beautiful complex flavor you can get out of such a simple recipe. Mix Smith's Sour Cream together with mayonnaise, dried onion, seasoned salt, dried parsley and dried dill, then chill for at least 2 hours to let it develop. Yes, that's all there is to it! Prep is easy, so why not get creative with the way you serve your Vegetable Dip! Hollow out a red or green pepper, and use it to contain the dip instead of a bowl. Or if you're hosting a party, pre-portion out scoops of dip in the bottom of mini disposable cups and place a colorful assortment of veggies inside for a snack that's no mess and portable. How to Make


  • 8 oz Smith's sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp dried minced onion
  • 2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp dried dill


  1. Mix all together well and chill for at least 2 hours before serving with assorted raw veggies.
