Sour Cream Drop Cookies

Rated 5/5 based on 2 reviews

Sour Cream Drop Cookies were grandma's secret recipe. The sweets she made were not from a book or a card, but held close in her heart from generations before. Sometimes you can find a version of these in the grocery store's bakery section, but those always seem to be missing something. We're almost positive that what's absent from the store-bought cookies is grandma's love! But now you can recreate her magic with your own special touch in your own kitchen with our recipe for Sour Cream Drop Cookies. Cream together the butter and sugar, then beat in the eggs, Smith's Sour Cream and vanilla. Combine all of the dry ingredients and mix in to the creamed mixture until a soft dough forms. Chill the dough, then drop by teaspoonful onto a cookie sheet and bake until set. These Sour Cream Drop Cookies will help you start your own tradition of homestyle cookies from the heart.

I have made them twice. They were delicious. They are like having individual little cakes. I will definitely make them again.

I hope these are the ones.

These sound and look just like the ones my mom made. I think the recipe she used was out of a Betty Crocker CB.
