Orange Macadamia Nut French Toast

Rated 5/5 based on 1 reviews

To give your regularly scheduled breakfast a tropical twist, try our Orange Macadamia Nut French Toast. Made with Smith's 100% Florida Orange Juice and chopped Macadamias, this morning treat will send your tastebuds on a mini-vacation. You can start your preparation the night before, which means you can sleep in a little tomorrow! Choose a beautiful loaf of fresh Italian bread at the bakery and slice into 1" pieces. Stir together the eggs, sugar, spices, Smith's 100% Florida Orange Juice and Smith's Milk, then pour this sunny mixture over the bread in a greased baking dish. Refrigerate overnight, remembering to turn the bread over once. The next day, bake in a single layer for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped Macadamias and bake just a little longer. A delicate garnish of powdered sugar and nutmeg completes your Orange Macadamia Nut French Toast, along with a drizzle of warm maple syrup and a little island music in the background!
