No-Fuss Cornbread

Sometimes you have the motivation and time to create a multiple-course dinner, but often, you feel fortunate if you can get more than peanut butter and jelly on the table! For those days when the struggle is real, try our No-Fuss Cornbread. It's a comforting accompaniment to the crockpot of chili you remembered to get cooking before work or the rotisserie chicken you pick up from the grocery on the way home. And No-Fuss Cornbread truly couldn't be any easier to prepare! All you have to do is toss everything together in one bowl. You could even employ the help of one of the kids because it's just that easy! Mix up both cans of corn, an egg, butter, corn muffin mix and Smith's Sour Cream, which will give your No-Fuss Cornbread a delightful creaminess and just a bit of a tang. Bake until golden, and just like that, you've made a no-fuss meal that everyone will enjoy!

How to Make


  • 1 can corn (drain off liquid)
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup Smith's¬†Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix


  1. Mix all ingredients together and put in an 8" x 8" greased pan.
  2. Bake at 350 F for about 45 minutes or until the cornbread is golden brown and the center is completely set.
