Appetizer

Hot Ham & Cheese Dip

If you're looking for a stellar appetizer that will make you the star of the party, forget plain old chips and dip, leave the tortilla crisps and jar of salsa in the cupboard and upgrade to our Hot Ham & Cheese Dip! It's hearty, cheesy and perfect for potlucks and tailgates or even just a cozy movie night in with the family. Start making the Hot Ham & Cheese Dip by scooping out a loaf of sourdough bread. We'll use the shell as a bowl and save the rest for dipping. Beat the cream cheese and Smith's Sour Cream together, then mix in the shredded cheddar cheese, green chilies and diced ham. Scoop this glorious mixture into the bread bowl and bake for 45 minutes. When this melty, gooey Hot Ham & Cheese Dip comes out of the oven, serve it with the reserved sourdough chunks. Just stand back and listen, as everyone gathers around to dig in, for all the ooooohs and ahhhhhhs to begin!
